We love salmon in all the ways but kids don't alwa We love salmon in all the ways but kids don't always want it. Teenage Avery is still a kid so I needed to find a way to get him excited about it... Other than sushi! He loves dumplings so I used that as inspiration to make teriyaki salmon. It's a hit!Honestly, I don't love the flavor of teriyaki sauce but this time I made my own and it's so easy & delicious. Just mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and mirin or sake to taste. You could add garlic & ginger if you want more flavor. If it's too thin use corn starch to thicken it.Homemade sauces are so much better than the store bought stuff. Give it a try...
