I plant them for pollinators & to deter bugs but I've learned that a lot of them are good for you & can also have topical medicinal benefits.Today I'm adding some marigold flowers to my Cobb salad because it's pretty & kinda fancy. I think I'll dry some & try it as tea too.#sustainablelifestyle #holisticwellbeing #holisticnutrition #fromgardentotable #4thHouseOnTheRight

Is wallpaper a trend... Again? When we were workin Is wallpaper a trend... Again? When we were working on this project my contractor asked for my honest opinion. Is wallpaper really back?Honestly, good wallpaper never went away only the trendy stuff did (think forest green & burgundy borders, green ivy climbing the walls, etc).Classics like the trellis in this bedroom & the grasscloth in the entryway (swipe 👉🏾) can elevate any design. These never go out of style.Other classic wallpaper patterns that stand the test of time are Greek key, toile, geometrics, chinoiserie, & some murals.
There's a lot of (really cool) trendy wallpaper out there now that I personally don't think will last, even my own home. But I think contractors have spent so much time & energy removing wallpaper over the years that they just want it to go away.I think I changed their minds with this project. 😉#MadeWithBellacorPRO #MadeWithBellacor #interiordesigntips #wallpaperinstallation #XtraordinaryByDesign
Have I ever mentioned that I have a thing with cha Have I ever mentioned that I have a thing with chairs? Especially old chairs. I've been threatening to reupholster this one for the last 4 years but she's older than me sooo... Something or 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 just won't let me do it.BTW, I also have a thing with textiles & love framing things. Over Grandmother's swivel chair I framed 2 fabrics - 1 from @kasmirfabrics that's matted by another from @reflektiondesign with a grasscloth wallpaper background from @tempaper_designsIt was an experiment that I think turned out really unique. Guarantee you won't see it anywhere else 😉#ihavethisthingwithchairs #ihavethisthingwithtextiles #framedfabric #putitinaframe #loveitframeit

I don't talk to my plants @clarke.andco but I like I don't talk to my plants @clarke.andco but I like to think I'm a good listener.
I am VERY attentive... sometimes overly attentive. Just last week they told me they didn't want anymore water. I left them alone & now everything is flowering & fruiting!
God gave them exactly what they needed last night & we'll be eating soon!

BTW, did you know that for some veggies in the garden, just shaking the flowering plant can release the pollen to fall on lower flowers so they can start fruiting too?
